Good evening everyone. We are missing 1 jersey and 2 pairs of shorts from our last match against Vale of Glamorgan. Can whoever has accidentally taken these, please make sure they bring them back with them tomorrow for the District photo at 4:00 pm. I haven’t mentioned the missing kit to Roy and I am hoping to get them all back without bothering him with it. If I don’t get them back though, I will have to tell him - otherwise we’ll be short for next season and the budget is tight. 🙁

A brilliant example of a player knowing the law well and using it perfectly to his teams advantage. The relevant law is 18.2(b). "The ball is NOT in touch or touch-in-goal if: A player jumps, from within OR OUTSIDE the playing area, and catches the ball, and then LANDS IN THE PLAYING AREA, REGARDLESS of whether the ball reached the plane of touch."

So in this case the kicker failed to find touch and we play on. A very smart move.

A cracking 21-13 win for Carmarthen District U16s against Llanelli at Hendy RFC this evening in the Dewar Shield competition. 🥳 Some good skills by both sides.
