As I’ve decided to downsize, I’m putting some feelers out to see if there may be any interest in this lovely 3yo filly, approx 138cm.

I originally planned to keep her as a future broodmare, but I’ve decided to reduce the size of my breeding programme.

She is by FEI dressage pony BKS Grand Design (FS Golden Moonlight x Sira). Although he has only a small number of offspring, one is already an FEI event pony.
Her dam is an Appaloosa x Arab, by August Skyhawk. Fully recorded breeding.

She carries one copy of LP gene so has a 50% chance of passing this onto her offspring. She has not been tested for PATN1

She has an easygoing, quiet temperament, so I think she will be straightforward to back and produce.
I’m in NO rush to sell, so please no silly offers. Only available due to current circumstances otherwise I would definitely not be parting with her..

Man, this breeding season has been HARD!! It feels like I’m saying this every year 😅 but this season in particular has definitely been tough emotionally. My costs for breeding have never been higher and I am still I’m still being told by potential customers almost daily that my prices are too high.

Because of our extremely poor conception rates over the past two breeding seasons, I made a significant financial loss last year, and most likely will again this year. Despite that, I’m always willing to negotiate on price if I know my foals are going to a genuinely good competition home.

I also know exactly what it costs to buy a foal in Europe and import it to the UK. Once you factor in transport, health testing, paperwork and other associated costs, you’re unlikely to be getting one any cheaper than buying from me.

If things don’t improve soon, I genuinely don’t think I’ll be able to continue breeding on this scale for much longer. It’s taking a huge toll on me, both financially and emotionally.

Two maternal half sibling to Top Yellow that competed at the Europeans multiple times;

De Vito (palomino, born 1995). Competed at Six European Pony Championships for Great Britain.

De Vito II (chestnut born 1996, sport name changed to Wonderboy). Competed at two European Pony Championships for Italy.
