**New Class**
I am so thrilled to announce that, starting in February, I will be hosting a new class in Emlyn LC called "Ladies learning to lift".
So what can you expect from this class?
Rather than a traditional workout class, it is more like a practical lesson for women wanting to learn about training with free weights (barbells and dumbbells).
My hope is that it will provide a safe, non judgemental and fun environment for any lady wanting to learn a bit about resistance training, which they can then implement in the gym or at home!
We will cover things like...
- safe and effective technique for big lifts such as the deadlift, squat, overhead press, and hip thrust.
- how to select an appropriate weight and information about training intensity.
- information about rep ranges, rest times, and how to make adjustments to each exercise depending on your goals and current ability.
- how to program workouts and combine exercises to help you achieve your training goals.
These sessions will be hosted in the small room beside reception to give us privacy, and numbers will be limited so that I can provide feedback and support to all who join me ❤️
