Went a walk with and spotted a feeding in the woods.

Tried to get a little closer for a better view but Thena was doing her best impression of and it heard us and eventually bolted.

Who else thinks they would have spotted this one?

If walking is just not as enjoyable as it used to be;

You are suffering from recurring injuries, tightness, or unexplained niggles that just take some of the joy out of your walks…

Visit The Entourage The Entourage Effect for therapies, supplements, and support to get you back on the trail and enjoying your hikes again, and taking in the scenery instead of babying your sore hips, knees, or ankles.

Ever tried walking with one shoe on and one shoe off—
or one heel higher than the other?

It feels off straight away.

One foot hits the ground sooner than the other.
Your pelvis tilts.
You’ll find yourself jamming one hip up higher to compensate—
then leaning slightly the other way to stop yourself tipping.

Your weight shifts unevenly.
One leg feels heavier.
The other feels like it’s reaching for the ground.

Your lower back tightens to stabilise.
Your shoulders subtly adjust to keep you upright.

You can still walk—
but everything feels awkward, restricted, and just that bit more effort than it should be.

Your body is doing this all the time when something in your system is even slightly out of balance.

It can start at your feet.
Your hips.
Or even your jaw.

But the body doesn’t isolate the issue.
It compensates.

One area works harder.
Another tightens to stabilise.

Movement becomes less efficient.

Not because your body is failing—
but because it’s trying to keep you moving
despite the imbalance.

Over time, those compensations can show up as:
Knee pain
Hip tension
Lower back discomfort

Sometimes far away from where the problem started.

The body isn’t a collection of separate parts.
It’s a system constantly adjusting to maintain balance.

So if you only ever treat where it hurts,
or only address things once they become a problem—
you’re often missing the bigger picture.

Different symptoms. One system.
