Such a privilege to walk back up to the cross and share the 91% eclipse with these gathered German families, they lent me special glasses to see eclipse & take photos and shared home grown pears and prosecco to celebrate the occasion, so grateful for their welcome! 🇩🇪 😇

Lovely afternoon exploring the neighbouring village, sad to see all the tributes to the soldiers lost in the Second World War and the buildings that were destroyed,headed to the well known Café Kúh but too hot for coffee so an ice cold beer (& cake for me!)

Amazing afternoon in neighbouring village of Dekhenpfronn saw many tributes to those lost in the Second World War and buildings destroyed and a war grave cemetery behind the church, headed to the famous coffee shop Cafe Kuh but only managed cake but not coffee (went for ice cold beer instead🍺😅 amazing public transport system even in rural villages!
