Final session before my deload and I could luckily breathe this time, trying to do a final week of training whilst tackling cold doesn’t blend well at all

Last week before a deload, been battling a slight cold the last week so barely trained but the recovery has done me well, numbers and weights are up, even though I could hardly breathe during this session, gassed tf out.

But if a random post but this sandwich 🥪 I know, very plain, very boring coming from a PT, was the bomb, not bad for calories and macros either.

Lord forgive me for I used white bread and not my gluten free, reduced fat, protein, wholemeal bread.

- 2 Slices of white bread 🍞
- Chicken Breast 🐓
- Bacon 🥓
- 1 Tomato 🍅
- Shredded Lettuce 🥬
- Sour Cream & Chive dip as a sauce (30% reduced fat for those bonus points).

Calories: 628 kcal

Protein: 57g
Carbohydrates: 54g
Fat: 22g

Here’s a quick and easy idea for a high protein breakfast! 😋

- Start off with some porridge, any kind if fine, I add in 100ml roughly per 30g, so here I have 60g of oats so I used 200ml of water.

- You can substitute the water for milk however this will change the flavour slightly and increase the calories.

- Then cook said porridge for atleast 2 minutes or until you have the right consistency you want.

- Add in your desired whey protein, for me I have chocolate orange which tastes like Terry’s chocolate orange 🍫 🍊 😍 so good!

- Mix thoroughly, I use a fork to mix better but you can use a spoon.

- (in the past I have used a shake with the protein powder in and then cooked the oats but I found it wasn’t the same texture, more dry and clammy weirdly).

- Once mixed add in your toppings, this could be peanut butter, jam, fruit, frozen fruit like I have, seeds, nuts, dried fruit, honey… the list is endless.

- Enjoy!

(You can play around with the oats, protein powder and toppings ratio to fit your desired calories or macros! 😁).

One of the biggest things that’s stopping people progress, is information overload, trying to find the absolute best bit of information for what you are trying to do. 🤔

But here’s the thing, there are many different approaches to whatever you’re trying to achieve, whether that’s lose body fat, build muscle, perform an exercise, hit a certain macronutrient goal, the list will be endless and so will the information. 🤯

So people get stuck in all this information out there and 1 of two things happen, people get caught in a loop of bouncing between methods and trying different ways but because they don’t stick to one, they don’t see the outcome they want, lose motivation and ultimately stop. 🛑

Or, people spend too much time wizarding around, when people post on social media about “The best method for ‘X’”and will get in a loop of just looking for the most ‘optimal’ and ‘cool’ method out there. 😎

But tbh, a lot of the time, in-fact maybe 99% of the time, the simple methods work best, the none complicated path is the best path to choose and you just gonna find a method, try it out a good number of times and apply your own twists on it to fit you and your lifestyle. ✅

One thing I always do is look at multiple sources or ask “Why does this work” with what I’m learning, understand how this has worked and how can I implement it into my lifestyle. Try to back up what I’m learning or why this thing has worked. 📚

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to learn, wanting to get better, be better or get more results, but you gotta start, you gotta take action and do, you gotta be persistent and consistent, tweak things along the way, see it through and ultimately you’ll find what works for you! 🔥💪
