Carlisle Crusaders Rugby Training.

Due to insufficient numbers we won't be training tonight.

We will train on Thursday 7th June 6pm-7pm at central fields opposite Carlisle Youth Zone.

We would appreciate it if you could let us know if your child is attending so the session can be planned.

With families having other commitments during the week we will try a new Saturday session for the young Crusaders. More details will follow once we work out when the coaches can fit it into their schedules.

Rugby League Training is back!

U6-U12 training is on tonight Tuesday 5th June 6pm-7pm at Central Fields opposite Carlisle Youth Zone.

Hope everyone has enjoyed the Half Term break and is looking forward to more Rugby League with Carlisle Crusaders.

Ages: 4-6 year olds and Years 1 - 7
Day: Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 6:00 - 7:00pm
Venue: Central Fields opposite Carlisle Youth Zone.

Ages: U14s (Years 8 & 9)
Day: Wednesday
Time: 6:00 - 7:00pm
Venue: Central Fields opposite Carlisle Youth Zone.

Training is held on Central Fields as the pitches are still out of use at the Rugby Club.

These sessions are open to all, please come along and give it a "TRY"

A few shots from Saturday 12th May away to Gateshead Storm.

Fantastic effort, attitude and character from all of the Crusaders in what can only be described as "a hard day at the office".

We are building Rugby League in Carlisle and this is where it began in 2018.

Even if the result wasn't what we wanted, we believe the lads took a lot away from the game in ways of character building, work ethics, positive attitude, showing great resilience and belief in themselves and each other. The most important part of their experience was the smiles on their faces.

After watching the Challenge Cup fixture after the Crusader game it dawned on me that
Toronto Wolfpack could learn a lot from this bunch of young lads starting out on their Rugby League experience.

They just kept getting up and starting again without as much as a complaint let alone a loss of discipline.

Keep it up Crusaders, proud to be part of your Club.

Unfortunately today's training session had been called off.

I am currently in Royal Lancaster Hospital with Peter after he broke his leg on Sunday.

He is waiting to go for his operation and can't wait to be back home.

He is in good spirits and wants to thank everyone for their kind words of support.

He will be back to rugby A.S.A.P - His words not mine.

Doctor: "Has this put you off playing rugby?"

Peter: "Nah, could of done this falling off my bike, I still want to be a rugby player."
