What an incredible afternoon we had yesterday! 🏊🏆
It was fantastic to see all of our fellow Cumbrian teams competing in both the Diddy League Final and the Sprint League.
The competition was fierce, with every team giving their all and producing some fantastic swims. There were plenty of nail-biting moments as everyone waited for the final results, but throughout the day it was brilliant to see so much determination, sportsmanship and team spirit on display.
After an exciting afternoon of racing, the results were in... Carlisle brought it home once again, winning the Diddy League Final! 🥇👏
A huge congratulations to all of our younger swimmers. You should be incredibly proud of everything you've achieved through your hard work and dedication, we certainly are! 💙
Next up were our older swimmers in the Sprint League, where the racing continued at a fantastic standard. Congratulations to Cockermouth on winning the Sprint League trophy, with Ulverston taking second place and Carlisle finishing in a brilliant third. 🏆🥈🥉
We're so proud of all of our older swimmers for their outstanding performances and team spirit throughout the competition.
A massive thank you to Sam Abba, Cumbria Amateur Swimming Association, and everyone involved in making the day such a success. We also want to give a special shout-out to all the coaches, officials and volunteers whos hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed, especially in yesterday's heat! ☀️
Finally, congratulations to every Cumbrian team that took part. You all gave it everything, and we think you've earned a well-deserved rest. Well done, everyone!💙🏊🎉
