A huge well done to our phenomenal goalkeeper, Jaxon, on being named our Player of the Match! 🧤⚽️👏🏻
Leading from the back and putting in a fantastic performance in goal, Jaxon showed great determination, bravery and leadership throughout the game. 💪🏻
As a brand-new team, we are so excited for what this season has in store for our Stanwix Wasps U10s! 🐝⚽️

Visitors to Rickerby will have noticed our new sign reminding players, coaches and spectators that this is grassroots football and any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated by anyone at Stanwix FC.

Stanwix Put Seven Past Edentown FC

Edentown nicked an early one, but it turned out to be exactly the wake-up call Stanwix needed. Ste Mona took over, scoring and setting up two more, to have it 3-1 by half-time.

Second half was more of the same, Mona bagged two more off Phil assists, then a fifth off Kev, before Frenchie rounded things off with a penalty. 7-1 final, could've been more but for a generous striker squaring instead of shooting, and a couple of dubious offside calls by big Dave.

Stanwix U11s took part in the Locharbriggs Village Hall Tournament in Dumfries this weekend! A tournament with 24 teams!

They came away as the Summer League winners! Well done kids on an excellent display all round!

Our players have been working hard over the last few weeks and we can’t wait to see them represent Stanwix FC in black and yellow this season. This group is full of enthusiasm, talent and, most importantly, a fantastic attitude towards learning and enjoying the game.

A huge congratulations to our Wasps U7s, who were crowned Gilford Park Tournament Champions at Sheepmount on Saturday! 💛🖤

An incredible team performance from start to finish: ⚽ Played 8 matches ✅ Won 5 🤝 Drew 1 💥 Semi-final: Won 5-0 🏆 Final: Won 4-0

The effort, teamwork and determination shown by every single player was outstanding, especially in the warm conditions. They never stopped working for each other and thoroughly deserved their success.

Stanwix U8s. What a way to finish the season! We won a trophy at Team Evie last year and we finished this season with another win at Team Evie! Great tournament raining money for a very worthy cause! 👏

It was also Coach Gaz's last game in charge, and what a way to finish! 💪🏆
