Reflective Rebels

Reflective Rebels Coach for stuck people. Because life is to short to be sh*t. But what if you want to do things differently? That’s where I come in. Why work with me? Why me?

Let’s Explore How We Can Work Together

The world has a lot to say about how you’re “supposed” to do work and business: hustle harder, hit targets, follow the rules. What if you’re looking for joy in the process, calm in the chaos, and clarity in all the noise? I work with business leaders who are ready to pause, breathe, and reflect. Together, we’ll strip back the “shoulds” and the stress to unco

ver a way forward that’s truly you. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or quick fixes. Instead, I create a space for you to explore what’s important, rethink how you work, and reconnect with your purpose. This isn’t about setting goals—it’s about the bigger picture: the kind of life you want to build and how you want to feel while building it. My coaching isn’t just about business growth. It’s about finding more lightness, balance, and joy in what you do every day. Who’s this for? I work with people who are looking for something deeper than just profit. You want to create, inspire, and make an impact—without burning out or losing yourself along the way. Whether you’re growing your business, building a team, or trying to find your way back to the joy in your work, I’d love to help. I’ve been there—at the highs of business ownership and at the burnout stage, curled up at the bottom of the stairs wondering how to keep going. I know what it’s like to want more meaning, connection, and freedom in life and work. That’s why my coaching is grounded in empathy and creativity. It’s not about telling you what to do—it’s about helping you find your way forward. If that resonates with you, let’s talk. You don’t have to dive in headfirst—sometimes a coffee and a conversation is the best place to start. Email me at [email protected] to explore how we can work together.

You may not realise it yet, but one of the biggest obstacles standing between you and progress could be you.

Not because you lack ability, intelligence, or potential…

But because doubt, hesitation and fear of failure can quietly hold you back without you even noticing.

Step aside fear, let’s go.

In September 2015, Greg and his wife Jill lost their daughter Evie when she was just six months old.

That night, in the middle of the worst thing that could happen to a family, they made a decision. Evie’s life was going to have a positive impact - the charity Team Evie was started.

Today, it supports thousands of families across Cumbria, Lancashire and the North East.
When Greg talks about grief, he talks honestly about what it means to carry something heartbreaking with you and still find reasons to smile.

This conversation is about grief, resilience, courage, asking for help, and the ways people find their way back to joy. Because sometimes healing looks like fish and chips on a Friday night, and a film with the people you love.

Thank you to Greg for being so open about his story and for the incredible work he continues to do through Team Evie.

You know when someone has got that thing they’ve always done? Not a career plan. Not a side project with a spreadsheet behind it. Just something they keep going back to because they love it.

Kim from was making pottery on her kitchen table for years. A kiln at her grandma’s house, and stock in the garage. She was working pubs, retail, teaching, sometimes all three at once, and still skint! But she kept spending her money on pottery equipment instead of house deposits.

When her grandma passed away and left her some money, Kim didn’t weigh it up. Every penny went into a studio...

Three years on she’s got three wheels, two kilns, a custom glaze lab, and a space where people walk in and the stress drops off their shoulders!

Kim told me she always felt like a puzzle piece that didn’t fit anyone else’s puzzle. Not in a sad way. She just never quite fitted where everyone else seemed to. And instead of changing shape, she built her own. The right people found her.

I think a lot of people running their own thing will recognise something in that.

New episode of Reflective Rebels live now. Thank you to Kim for being so open and funny on the sofa, and to Alistair at .media for the production.

Wow what a story! left school at 16 with no plan, fell into the flooring trade... then went self-employed at 21, opened a shop in 2014, lost everything in the Carlisle floods a year later, rebuilt it, got hit by COVID, moved to bigger premises, and just...kept....going.

35 years of doing the work properly, treating people right, and building something worth being really proud of.

And yet, Neil still admits in the latest episode of the podcast “It’s hard to enjoy a business though, it’s just constant.”

He wasn’t bitter or complaining, just being open about one of the parts of business most people I work with feel.... the pride that built everything for Neil is the same thing that makes it impossible to switch off.

This episode is a conversation about what it actually costs to build something you’re proud of, and a celebration of hard work and doing right by your customers.
