My 14 week training plan for the Great North run is under way... starting with 2.5 miles and adding half a mile on each week untill the end of August will get me up to half marathon milage... with a couple of faster short runs inbetween to get my pace up to a Sub 2 hour race.. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ… give me a shout if you want to join me on any of my runs I prefer a social than solo nash... ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿงก... Our physical and mental fitness is a journey and a lifestyle, its not an overnight fix. Having a healthy balance it the key. 3 years of park runs on a saturday morning (not every Saturday) running with the baby in a pram because thats the only way I could get out and get it done. Kids on there bikes next to me some of the time. MY coach telling me 'Get it Done and thank Me later' well now I am looking back and thanking him for where I am now. Strong and healthy both mind and Body.
I still had cake on a Tuesday morning playgroup and pizza for tea on a Friday if that'll what took my fancy BUT I was mindfull of the Calories needing burned off after indulging. Like I say.. Balance and consistency is the ๐Ÿ”‘ these 2 pictures prove it 3 years AND 3 Stone in body weight apart ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿงก ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ“ท ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ โ›ฐ๏ธ ๐ŸŒŽ ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿ•
