Great to see our ManVFat team F.C united of Carbisle mentioned in the CUST May newsletter, it was the first time that CU have included us in a football tournament at Brunton Park and we joined 8 other teams for a knockout tournament, we played fair and well but were not a match for some of the young/fast/skinny guys 😂, happy to say we were not last. Then yesterday Carlisle played an ability team Clear Your Head FC over at St Bees and won 6:1 🥳⚽️⚖️🙏

Fantastic football event last night to share awareness and support men’s mental health, big thanks to the charities/organisers and all the players and coaches, so proud of my MVF guys for giving it their all, they didn’t walk away with the trophy but they played hard but fair! ⚽️⚖️🎉💙 , was also exciting to use Carlisle United’s changing facilities 👀 any guys wanting to lose some ‘timber’ via the beautiful game of football signup at MANvFATFootball.org/carlisle

Next up is the Community Wellbeing Award - it's gone to the guys at MAN v FAT Carlisle for their 48 for 48 challenge, raising huge amounts for Sarcoma UK in support of one of their players Glen whose wife Laura was diagnosed with the disease.

A fantastic effort and a richly deserved award.
