Another year, another successful Christmas gift drive for the hospital. And you guys delivered for the 4th year running ❤️

Huge thank you to anyone that donated to the cause. We managed to raise £500 and take 80 odd gifts up to the children’s ward to make sure that any child in the ward over the Christmas period gets a little something at the end of their bed for waking up.

Any ungifted toys are distributed into play areas within the hospital to make sure kids waiting areas have some new bits and pieces to keep them entertained ☺️

Y’all know the score by now with Strength Shack and our opening times…

As ever we’ll be staying open 24/7 for our members, week passes and month passes right through the festive period.

Day passes will still be limited to 6am-8pm period. So make sure you’re swiped in before 8pm if you’re heading down!

As pointed out in previous years. There is no right or wrong training regime to have over Christmas. If you want to go deadlift on Christmas Day, awesome. If you want to lay on the couch in a food coma, that’s awesome. Whatever you do, enjoy yourself.

It’s also incredibly important that we point attention to our support channels who offer mental health support for anyone that may need it.

Have a good one whatever you’re doing. And from our family to you and yours, merry Christmas! 🎄

(btw… I’m absolutely going for the latter.. get me on that couch 🫃🏻)

Incredibly proud to announce that this weekend one of our wonderful members is running an amazing charity event where he will be taking on the mammoth task of completing a 5km run, on the hour, every hour - for 24 hours. Insane. Anyone is welcome to come along and join in with Daz in as many or as little of the runs as they want down at strength shack. There is a link in our bio to his just giving page where he’s raising money for the incredible . In Daz’s own words “sometimes, the hardest race isn’t the one on the road — it’s the one in your head.” Let’s all get behind him and raise some proceeds. Good luck Daz 🤝❤️

Another HUGELY successful charity drive done this year thanks to you lovely bunch.

this is our fourth year running this gift drive and again we’ve managed to raise the bar up to an astonishing £200. We’ve added £100 to the pot to lift the total up to £300 meaning we were able to buy and donate 57 toys for the children’s ward at the hospital, And even a big hamper for the staff.

A few people this year asked me why we do this. So I’ve asked my fellow director to Strength Shack, Twed, to summarise it for you all, as i know this is one close to his heart.

‘THANK YOU!!! Together, we raised an outstanding £300, which bought 57 presents for children spending their Christmas in the hospital. Your kindness and generosity have undoubtedly made a significant impact on these young lives during a time that can be challenging for them and their families.

It means a lot to us especially me as I have been in that position where one of my kids was in hospital over Christmas. It was then when I found out the staff had left my son a present at the end of his cot that they buy gifts out of their own money.

So with the help from you amazing lot we have hopefully eased a little pressure on the staff and also made all the kids on the ward little better on Christmas Day.’
