Beginner weights for women is a small group personal training session (formerly known as ladies that lift)

We teach you all the technique and gym lingo without the PT price tag, no membership required and no stepping foot into a scary or intimidating gym

Our classes are friendly fun and welcoming.

And suitable for complete beginners who have never lifted a weight in their lives. To people who have maybe tried a few classes or had a PT in the past but still arent really confident heading to the gym alone.

Not only do we give you a fab workout each week so you dont have to worry about what to do but we also teach you the gym lingo and exercises that you can gain confidence to take back to the gym floor with you.

How heavy should you lift?
How many reps?
How many sets?
What muscle groups should I be working for my specific goals?
We give you all that info and soooo much more.

Each class is also a bit of a science lesson. So you can understand exactly why we do what we do.

A great way to start the day.

Beginner weights for women on saturday is a circuit based small group PT for a fraction of the cost.

Learn to lift safely and effectively and have a good gossip at the same time.

Friendly and welcoming for all abilities especially beginners to weights.

So if youre nervous to join a gym or need some guidance with your home weights pop to our website to book

Saturdays 8am at Currock Community centre.

We also have classes Wednesdays and Thursday evenings across Carlisle.

Combat workout with a mixture of cardio, body weight resistance and intervals.

Classes include max of 4 people around each punchbag and moves are set to music. So you follow a routine.

So youve always wanted to join the gym but it makes you so nervous because what if everyone there knows what theyre doing and you dont?

Ladies we got you.

I know just how intimidating it can be stepping into a gym. I was a dancer and until 10 years ago Id never so much as touched a dumbbell. When I began in the gym I got a costly PT. And had to wake up at 6am (crack of dawn) I mean thank goodness I was in my 20s I would not want to do that now.

So a few years ago after the success of Clubbercise (ladies who dont like the idea of exercising in front of people) I trained as a PT to help women get into resistance training but without the gym membership, hefty PT prices and the anxiety of going in on my own and sticking to the cardio section because weights scared the hell out of me.

So if that sounds like you I have just the thing for you.

Beginner weights for women

For those who havent ever really lifted before or those who have maybe in a class or gym but arent really sure about their technique. Concerned about injury or just simply not knowing how many reps, what order to exercise in, how many sets, how heavy to be lifting.

Beginner weights for women is every Wednesday at Belah Centre 7pm.

Thursday at Currock Community centre 6pm
And saturday at 8am (also at Currock)

Come and join us and lets give you the confidence to lift better, get stronger and more confident with a range of equipment.
