Great to see the Narberth & Whitland Rotary Club donating £200 to Narberth Chess Club.

A very big thank you to the Rotary Club of Narberth & Whitland for their generous donation to Narberth Chess Club.

Last night we were delighted to receive a cheque for £200, which will help us continue to sustain and grow the club, support our junior players, and make chess accessible to more people in the community.

We are incredibly grateful for the Rotary Club’s support and encouragement — it means a great deal to everyone involved with the club.

Excellent news - and congratulations to Jonathan in his new role!

The WCU is thrilled to announce the appointment of FM Jonathan Blackburn as Development Director!
Jonathan is well known in the Chess world striding through the Welsh junior ranks playing in Glorney Cups and World Youth Championships multiple times before moving on to representing Wales in Olympiads. Jonathan is also a Chess coach, dedicated to supporting our young players follow in his footsteps.
