Come and support Poppit Sands SLSC Nippers this weekend as we host the Welsh Championship at Poppit Sands .
300 competitors from all over Wales compete over 2 days of competition.
Food and drink available on the beach , so come and take a look ……

Good luck to all the nippers competing this weekend. You have worked so hard for this and now is the time to show everybody what you are made of. Thank you for giving your all in training and also thank you to the coaches for motivating us to give our all, none of us could have done it without you. I hope all of you are excited for the weekend and remember a few nerves can be a positive thing. Hope you all rest well before the competition. Go for it!!

Doesn’t get much better than this …. Early morning SUP adventure from Ceibwr Bay …. All the amazing sights and sounds with the added bonus of watching the dolphins play around us for 30 mins . Amazing experience for both clients , Gareth and Natasha who couldn’t believe their luck .
Truly amazing to be able to guide on this awesome stretch of Ocean .
Midweek is a great time to go , so if you fancy a trip , drop me a message .

A new route yesterday ….. Ceibwr Bay to Newport Sands …..
Stunning morning to take on this challenging route which takes in all the secret caves , including Pwll Y Wrach , Ogof Goch, Ogof Cadno and Pwll Coch.
Seal Bay is on this route , which is absolutely stunning , full of beautiful secluded pebbled beaches to chill .
Set off just after HW at 0930 with an easterly breeze … perfect conditions with slight swell for first half of paddle.
On the approach to Trwyn Y Bwa headland , wind switctched to forecast NE and conditions picked up slightly , especially rounding the headlands.
Nice and settled again as you head in to the shelter of Newport Bay .
Approximately 6 miles , 2 hour paddle in yesterdays conditions .
This is an exposed paddle with no exits on the route.
I would advise all safety equipment and inform Coastguard of your planned route and ETA ( as I did yesterday).
I am available to guide on this route and others on this piece of coastline ….

Forecast is looking great at the moment and early morning is a great time to go.…. Nice and quiet and hopefully before the wind picks up !
