What a blast we had today on our 'Day Trip'. With limited options we headed to the Usk, a section the boys had done many times.

With new lines paddled, challenges set and some boundaries pushed surfing waves, the guys confidence and technique progressed epically through the day!

Don't forget you don't need the hardest whitewater to get better, you just need to make rapids that seem easy, challenging!

Things are starting to get going again for us here at CIWW and the Kids Academy! Our instructors have been ensuring they can keep up with the mini shredders once we get going again, here's Eddy having a smooth line on the Nedd Fechan in very high water!

We will be sharing some dates for South Wales Day Trips soon, naturally these will run slightly differently and transport to and from the river will no longer be provided.

Today is the day the Kids Academy would have been heading off for an amazing week in Val Sesia, Italy. As gutted as everyone is to not be going, there will be more trips in the future and we hope everyone is staying safe and managing to get on the water.

Italy will have to wait till next year!
