Looking to try something new and get more active in 2026? Perhaps you're new to Cardiff and are looking to join a lively and diverse community with regular social events? We're here for you🙆 why not come and join us on Mondays this January and try korfball for FREE?

Korfball is the best sport you've never heard of🔥 with similarities to netball and basketball, korfball is a fast-paced, inclusive sport where men and women play side by side on the same team to score as many goals as possible⛹️

Whether you're hearing about it for the first time or have played for years, or you want to play socially or competitively, there's a place for you with us🤝

Our first post!!

This is our new dedicated page to Cardiff Raptors Korfball Club youth korfball club.

We offer youth korfball to boys and girls aged 7-14 years old and we're looking for kids to join the club. Training is every Monday night 7pm until 8pm at Cardiff City House of Sport

So your kids can see if this is the sport for them we offer the first 3 sessions free of charge!! After that it is only £12 per month!

Our youth club is 1️⃣🥳🎂

We can't believe it's now been a whole year since we launched the first youth korfball club in Wales!

Our group has a great mix of ages and abilities, so all are welcome to come along and give it a go. Maybe your child could be Wales' next up and coming korfball star👀

And the best part? The first 3 sessions are free!

It's now been six months since we launched our korfball youth club!

In that time, we've been to 6 different primary schools across Cardiff and introduced over 215 children to korfball 🤯

Our sessions on a Monday (7pm - 8pm - first three sessions are free!) have seen 26 children come and give our sessions a go and we now have a core groups of regular members, who even have their own kit!

We're continuing to grow as a club and hoping to build on the great work that we've already done in sharing our sport with the next generation of korfball stars 🥳

Massive thanks to the fund for helping us get the club off the ground, to players , and also to the grant for providing their support 🌟

If you know of any children between 7 and 13 that would be interested in giving it a go, then get in touch or bring them along to one of our Monday sessions.❗Remember, the first 3 sessions are free for new members❗⛹️⛹️‍♀️

Summer training is here!!

Starting tomorrow (20th June) evening at Roath Rec park and continuing through to late August, training will be outdoors on Thursdays from 7pm until 8.30. Drop us a DM if you want to come along and play!

On Monday we finished our 5th session of Youth Korfball! We also had a record attendance of 13 children getting involved 🤩

The kids are loving the variety of activities, learning new skills, working as a team and generally just having a blast!

Thank you so much to our volunteers who's time and dedication behind the scenes has made this possible and are now running our sessions ❤️
