Oshi Shinobu Kyokushin Karate Club is a mixture of the traditional full contact Karate and Kyusho, pressure point knock out. Instructor Nick Andrews Sensai (3rd Dan black belt) has been practicing Kyokushin for 21 years, competing in many tournaments within this time and travelling to various countries around the world for training. Instructor Rowland Sime Sensei (5th Dan black belt) has been prac
ticing for 25 years and teaching for 20. Kyokushin is rooted in a philosophy of self improvement, discipline and hard training. It consists of three main elements. Kihon (basic techniques), Kata (forms) and Kumite (sparring). It was founded by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama in 1964 and has international appeal. (Practioners have over the last 40+ years number more than 12 million). We at Oshi Shinobu are extremely passionate about every aspect of Kyokushin and train our hearts and bodies to the limit. All ages are welcome to our open club and there is no minimum requirement in regards to fitness levels. All students are treated as equals and maintain a friendly atmosphere, however at the same time demand ultimate respect to the instructor.
