FAB BEARS

“It’s not just about sport,” one parent shared. “It’s about kindness, confidence, and giving kids a place where they feel they belong.”

Over the years, we’ve built something truly special at FAB BEARS. We’re not just a sports club — we’re a community, and one that I feel incredibly proud and privileged to be part of.

Our goal is to keep the children excited and engaged throughout each session. We understand that children have short attention spans, so we constantly strive to make our activities interactive, challenging, and age-appropriate. At FAB BEARS, we believe that learning should be a joyful and memorable experience.

⭐️⚽️ FAB BEARS IS 10 YEARS OLD! ⚽️⭐️

This month marks a HUGE milestone for us… 10 YEARS OF FAB BEARS! 💙🌈

In 2025, there were 5.4 million micro businesses in the UK. According to research from Warwick Business School, just 10% of start-up businesses survive their first 10 years.

So this year, as FAB BEARS celebrates its 10th birthday, we feel incredibly proud to be part of that 10%. 🥹💙

FAB BEARS was created in 2016, and what started as a small children’s sports club has grown into something we could never have imagined.

10 years of building confidence.
10 years of teaching kindness.
10 years of FAB BEARS. 🐻⚽️

Running a small business isn’t always easy, and reaching this milestone makes us incredibly proud of everything we’ve built.

To every parent who has trusted us with their child, every coach who has been part of our journey and every little FAB BEAR who has walked through our doors…

THANK YOU. ❤️

You are the reason we’re still here, doing what we absolutely love 10 years later.

Here’s to the next 10! 🥂🐻⚽️

❤️ Today would have been Fraser’s 18th birthday. ❤️

Happy heavenly 18th birthday, Fraser. ⚽️
You are remembered, you are loved, and your legacy continues every single day.

FAB BEARS was created in 2016 and lovingly named in memory of a very special little boy I had the privilege of coaching — Fraser Aaron Bates, who tragically lost his life at just 7 years old following a road traffic accident in December 2015.

❤️ Fraser Aaron Bates ❤️

In the midst of unimaginable heartbreak, Fraser became a hero. Through organ donation, he went on to save lives, giving other families the most precious gift of all — more time with the people they love.

Fraser’s incredible mum turned unimaginable pain into something so powerful, creating the charity Believe to raise awareness of organ donation and encourage conversations that can ultimately save lives. I will forever be in awe of her strength and courage.

Fraser’s memory has remained at the heart of FAB BEARS ever since.

At the end of our toddler sessions, we hand out our little FAB Bears to help share Fraser’s story, spark conversations about organ donation and ensure that his bright, joyful memory continues to live on.

I often wonder what Fraser would think if he could see FAB BEARS today. Nearly 500 children playing, laughing, building confidence and making friends every single week — all under a name that carries his initials:

F.A.B. — Fraser Aaron Bates. ❤️

What an incredible legacy for a little boy who brought so much happiness to those lucky enough to know him.

FAB BEARS will always be so much more than a business to me. It is a tribute, a purpose and a way of making sure Fraser’s name and story continue to make a difference.

Happy 18th birthday, Fraser. ❤️⚽️
I hope we’re making you proud.

Angharad ❤️
