Old Illts 1st XV set the tone for the club weekend winning with the last play against Pontycymmer and maintain their good start to the season.

Sunday then saw some great team displays through the mini and junior sections

Under 8s and 9s producing great team displays

Under 10s showing progression with more players committing to the ruck securing balls and playing a fast fluid game with some lovely passing and smart plays

Under 11s produced an excellent performance, played as a team and energy in defence to win turnovers and then move the ball into space in attack.

Good win for 12’s in the Cup 26-5 v Ynysowen with a solid 2nd half display🏆

U14s Solid 1st half this group of boys display teamwork and effort. Some very big performances again this week and some big tackles. Improved defensive line/line speed.

Under 16s much improved this week

Well done to all making the club team of the week 👏🫡🔰 🏆

Under 8s really showed heart and battled in every defence and shut them out time after time. Really proud how they’ve developed since last season.

Under 9s new players performing and the more experienced raising the bar.

Under 10s made the ruck a hard area to win at by the third and forth games, our motm was our new boy Ruban first game and he scored he tackled he rucked, he was a winner in all aspects today and got a well deserved trophy 🏆

Under 11s We started well, lost our shape for a while but recovered to score some good tries in the second half.

Under 14s a cracking match end to end with a massive defensive effort.

Well done to all making the club team of the week 👏🫡🔰 🏆
