Join Jeff Grosvenor of the Newport Medieval Ship Centre for a fascinating talk exploring the discovery, preservation and future of this remarkable fifteenth-century vessel. Discovered in 2002 during construction of Newport’s Riverfront Arts Centre, the ship is one of the most significant archaeological finds of its kind.

Trident Divers are a SCUBA diving club based in Cardiff, South Wales.

We were formed in 2012 through the amalgamation of three much older clubs — Cardiff Dolphins, Cardiff Underwater and South Glamorgan BSAC — and we have members of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

We are also a training club and welcome new members at all levels, including complete beginners, young divers, novice divers looking to build confidence, and experienced divers who want to continue developing their skills or dive with an active and supportive club.

Whether you are interested in learning to dive, continuing your training, getting back into the sport, or simply joining a friendly group of divers, you will be very welcome.

Most of our diving takes place during the summer around Pembrokeshire in West Wales. We also arrange trips on the English south coast and, from time to time, further afield and abroad.

During term time, we train on Thursday evenings at Whitchurch High School, Penlline Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 2XJ, between 7.00pm and 8.00pm.

After training, we have a social meet-up from 8.30pm at:

We aim to be open and transparent with both new and existing members, so our joining costs and membership fees are clearly available for anyone interested in joining the club.
