Currently underway at Thornhill Park as we continue to try & improve the playing surface -
"Pitch Aeration" is the process of creating openings in the soil of a sports pitch to improve air circulation, water drainage, and root growth. It combats soil compaction caused by heavy use, leading to better overall turf health, a more resilient playing surface, and reduced waterlogging.
