People to whom your change doesn’t make sense. Who wanted you to stay the way you were. The way they understood you.

I love my job.

I love seeing someone come in to the gym nervous, and totally unaware of just how much they are capable of.

I love seeing that person transform into a version of themself that they can barely recognise; and I don’t just mean physically.

I love how what I do reaches so far outside of the gym.

I love it because my act of service is giving you the tools, and showing you how to use them for the rest of your life. Long after you and I have parted ways.

If you want to heal the mind you need to heal the body first.

There comes a point where it’s not for the fun of it, nor for the vanity. It’s because exercise has become part of the foundational behaviours that I have built my self respect on.

I deserve to be healthy and have balance. I deserve to be fit and strong. I deserve to know how far I can push, and how far I have yet to go.

You deserve this to.

Having a body capable of so much is such a blessing. It is a shame to waste it.
