AFC Whitchurch is recruiting new girls’ teams!

We’re looking for enthusiastic players and coaches to help us grow our girls’ football pathway. To support new teams getting started, we’re offering:
🔵Up to £250 towards the launch of a new mini team (U7–U11)
🟡Up to £500 towards starting a junior, youth, or senior girls’ team
(Funding amount varies based on squad size)

⚽️ Boot Room Donations Needed ⚽️

As we come to the end of the season, we’re asking if anyone has any football boots that are no longer needed and could be donated to the Boot Room.

At the moment, it’s especially busy with lots of children growing out of their current boots, and many parents looking for a short-term solution before buying new pairs for next season.

If you have any boots sitting at home that still have plenty of life left in them, please consider donating them — all sizes are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Your donations really do help keep kids playing football without parents having to constantly replace expensive kit every few months.

Volunteer Coach Wanted – Amateur Men’s Football Team

Are you passionate about football and ready to make a real impact at grassroots level? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic coach to lead our amateur men’s football team for the upcoming season.

About Us
We are a committed and friendly squad competing in a local amateur league. Our focus is on teamwork, development, and enjoying the game while striving to improve and compete at our best every week.

The Role
As head coach, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions
- Manage the team on match days
- Develop players’ skills, fitness, and tactical understanding
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team environment
- Work with club members to support the overall growth of the team

What We’re Looking For
- A strong passion for football and player development
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Reliability and commitment throughout the season
- Previous coaching experience is preferred but not essential
- Coaching qualifications are a bonus (support may be available for the right candidate)
