Bridgend Street AFC

Bridgend Street AFC Bridgend Street FC of Splott, Cardiff were originally formed in 1899 and
were initially a church community centre team.

Despite the mass demolition of most of the lower Splott area which included Bridgend Street amongst many others back in 1972, the club has continued to prosper, spending most of its life in the Cardiff & District Football League. After winning countless local league and cup titles “The Mission” gained promotion to the South Wales Senior League in 1993 and went on to become it’s record five times c

hampions before clinching elevation to The Welsh Football League in 2011. We now play in the South Wales Alliance Premier Division. In addition to a prolific catalogue of local domestic titles and cup triumphs Street also boast lifting the CW Bruty
Cup, The South Wales FA Intermediate Cup and The South Wales Senior Cup. We’re a proud long standing multicultural club that currently operate with two mens squads, an under 19 team plus various junior & mini age groups.
