The Shack Studio dancers will be performing at Stars of Tomorrow on the main stage of the Wales Millennium Centre on 2nd August (evening show)

It’s our first time and we can’t wait!!!

We love bringing together all our creativity and having access to The Talent Shack team and resources means we can be really ambitious!!

Come to class ready to dance!

What does this mean?

Hair neat and tied back ✅
Dance wear / uniform ✅
Jazz shoes (or trainers for Street) ✅

No jeans / no Crocs / no Uggs / ideally blacks rather than bright colours and slogans

The first thing you learn in dance is how to present yourself to show unity and harmony as a group, working together and being your best.

Our uniform can be purchased in Class Manager, under the Shop tab. Black leggings, plain tops, daps to get started can all be bought cheaply in supermarkets. That’s all it takes to get started.

Lots going on in the Shack over half term. Shack Studio has a private hire for most of the week so we’re just running dance classes on the Friday!

Join our dance studio in May as we start new choreography for a new season of competitions and events.

We are very welcoming and open to new dancers joining us. As one of the newer dance groups / studios in Cardiff we are still establishing ourselves.

Our strengths are jazz, musical theatre, commercial and street. Led by Courtney Brogan Smalley and Marina Bolondut, the atmosphere is fun and dynamic. We work hard but we know how to have a laugh.

We’ve had enquiries about Dance and Do in the summer holidays so we’re getting organised and the sessions will be on sale by the end of the weekend ready for parents to book!

We’ll be running every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-3.30pm. For ages 5-11 to dance, play and create in our private, safe studio on Penarth Road, just behind the drive thru Costa.

Register and enrol in Class Manager via our website if you haven’t already and would like to book and the summer will soon be live to book!
