We’ve had lots of new families register with us over the last few weeks so I’m doing a little behind the scenes, get to know us series of posts.
We use software called Class Manager and I’m sure that’s got some unavoidable AI business in there. We also use Canva to create our marketing and that for sure uses sneaky AI that’s just imbedded in everything it seems.
But when you want your child to take part in Dance and Do or one of our week long summer schools or any class, you will be contacting me- Shelley! Either by what’s app or email or our website or Class Manager. It’s me that replies and books your child on. I then create the invoice and email it to you. I then send out the welcome email. (I also do all our marketing, book keeping, accounting, planning, producing, all that malarkey too. But don’t worry - I love it)
I’m often around on the day as well and your children will see me come and go and get involved from time to time! I work closely with the teaching team and oversee what they do, helping out when needed, making sure everything is shack right.
We’re not a big automated conglomerate 🤣 we have a few systems and software to support us and I have been doing this a long time now so I have ways that mean I’m not working ALL the time. But this is very much a personal, family business. A not for profit business.
Admin is a beast for sure but it means people are using our services, children are having a great day with us, students are building skills and knowledge, and essentially it’s a nice chat getting to know you all and making sure you’re in the right class and your child is happy!
Sometimes a cafe visit is needed when both venues are full of summer schools!
