Welcome to Llandaff Rowing Club, one of Wales’ oldest and largest rowing clubs.

Welcome to Llandaff Rowing Club, one of Wales’ oldest and largest rowing clubs. For more than 60 years, Llandaff has been a major force in Welsh rowing, producing world-class oarsmen and women who have competed at the Olympics, the Commonwealth Games and other international regattas. With more than 200 members of all levels of ability and ambition, Llandaff’s rowing community is diverse. We provid

e training and coaching for novice through to elite athletes and have the facilities and expertise to cater for adaptive rowers. With four boat sheds, a large fleet of boats, a gymnasium and weights facility, the Club is well equipped to provide comprehensive land and water training. Along with our 1200m stretch of water on a quiet part of the River Taff, the Club has access to facilities at Cardiff Bay and a longer stretch of water for distance training. As well as being recognised for its sporting ethos, Llandaff’s vibrant social culture is well known. The Club bar is an ideal venue for post-training gatherings and is the focal point for events such as the annual Captain’s Dinner. Non-rowing and social members are also welcome to use the bar facilities during opening hours. With a large balcony overlooking the River Taff, the Club house provides a serene and tranquil setting for weddings, private functions and meetings. A function room is available for hire throughout the year and can be tailored to your event requirements. We also offer on-site parking for more than 50 cars.
