On Sunday, some of our girls travelled to Cinderford Rugby Club to take on Forest Falcons Touch Rugby . For many of them, it was their very first game of rugby!

The day started with plenty of nerves against a well-drilled opposition, but once the girls settled in and started enjoying themselves, they played some fantastic rugby. It was great to see them putting into practice the runs and skills they've been working on in training.

Most importantly, it was wonderful to watch them step outside their comfort zones, try something new, and grow in confidence throughout the day.

A huge thank you to everyone at Forest Falcons for such a warm welcome and a brilliant experience for our players.

Today marks the start of the season for Fairwater Ladies as we head to Cinderford Rugby Club to take on Forest Falcons Touch Rugby in our first game of 2026.

A new season, high energy, and a squad ready to put in the work for each other. Proud to pull on our new kits and represent Fairwater together.

On to our well behaved ladies.

Yesterday was the presentation for Fairwater Rfc MiniJuniors. What a great day.

We got to celebrate not only the kids, but our ladies who Coach and team manage these sections. Well done ladies Emma Jayne Rebecca Chant and Seren Blackmore.

Also a big shout out to Seren who was awarded with this season Clubwoman of the year❤️🤍
