And continuing celebrating the weekend at
Stafford and Stone Canoe Club…

Idris hit the water and gave it his all… and came away with two 1st places in Div 3, and just 10 points from promotion to Div 2.

And he was the winner of the Stone Cup.

Starting just 9 points from his goal, a 2nd place on Saturday made sure he went home grinning! Yesterday was our last Div 4 race of 2026 at Seren Dwr... with some great paddling! Race winners were Max (K1) and Iestyn (C1)... and there were some fabulous personal performances, with an especially strong C1 field. Well done to everyone!

Frome Canoe Club gave giggles, smiles and plenty of C1/C2 action last weekend at the Langham Farm Div 3/4.

If you haven't tried slalom before, this is the event to head to ♥️ Friendly and fun competition plus Wild Water racing and lots of good grub in the cafe marquee!

You definitely won't leave empty handed 🍭👀

🇵🇱 Polish Champs 🇵🇱

Last weekend it was the Open Polish Kayak Freestyle Championships in Kraków, Math & Ben came away with some excellent results:

🥈 Math – 2nd, JK1M
🥉 Ben – 3rd, SK1M

It was a brilliant opportunity to get some valuable competition practice ahead of the Freestyle World Cup, which starts today!

And it wasn’t all about competing! Volunteering is still so important, so Bethan and Lisette got stuck in behind the scenes, scribing for the judges 📝

Huge well done to everyone and good luck at the World Cup! 🇵🇱🌊

A few weeks ago we took our largest contingent of slalom paddlers yet to Llandysul River Festival 2026. And what a week we had!

Coasteering, river swimming, cliff jumping, arking, hotdogs, bushcraft, SUP, whitewater kayaking, camping, slalom training, and racing… who could want more?

Write next years festival into your diaries… August 4th-8th 2027 for a fabulous fun filled time away!

What a fantastic weekend!

Each year we are lucky enough to join North Avon Canoe Club. for a weekend camping, kayaking and journeying on the River Wye.

This year it was super hot so there was also lots of swimming and even ice cream!

Then at the end of the day it was back to Biblins for tea and the world famous cake!!
