✨ New Class Time Announcement ✨

I've made the decision to move my Whitchurch Mama Grooves class to a new time:

🗓️ Tuesdays
⏰ 10am–11am
📍 Whitchurch Community Centre
(From 7th July)

As a new business, I'm learning all the time about what works best for local families, and it became clear that an afternoon class wasn't the right fit for many mums. So I'm really pleased that we've been able to move to a Tuesday morning slot instead 💛

Mama Grooves is all about creating a welcoming space where you can keep your baby close, move to a fun playlist, and connect with other mums without any pressure to be a dancer (or even to make it through a whole class without stopping for a feed or cuddle! 🤍).

I'm excited to see what this new time brings and hopefully welcome some new faces along for a boogie soon ✨

It's giving World Cup opening ceremony energy... ⚽✨

Although I can assure you there's significantly less pressure at Mama Grooves 😅💛

No dance experience needed, no auditions, and absolutely no requirement to move like Shakira (even though I think these ladies could give her a run for her money! 😉💃)

One of the loveliest things about babywearing dance is that it supports babies too 💛

Babies experience the world through closeness, touch, rhythm, movement, and connection, and babywearing naturally brings all of those things together.

Being close enough to hear your voice, feel your breathing, and move with your rhythm can help many babies feel calm, secure, and connected ✨

The gentle motion of dancing and swaying may also help some babies:
• settle more easily
• feel soothed and regulated
• spend less time crying
• enjoy sensory and vestibular stimulation through movement

And while every baby is wonderfully different, responsive closeness can be such a powerful foundation for connection and emotional safety 🤍

Just as importantly, babywearing dance creates shared moments of joy, and babies feel that too.

✨ Always use a safely fitted carrier and move within your own comfort and capacity.

And honestly… we just had a bit of fun ✨

Last week’s Mama Grooves classes were full of movement, chats, sleepy snuggles and some very sweet moments in between. No pressure, no expectations. Just music, babies, and a chance to do something for *you* too.

I had the best time and I really hope everyone else did too 🤍
