We won’t mention the fact that our outdoor classes have had a 50% success rate so far thanks to the lovely British weather… 😅

BUT… tomorrow’s forecast is looking bright, beautiful and DRY 🙌

✨ Stepped (or shall we say, danced!) well and truly out of my comfort zone this morning… ✨

This morning took me to the Fire & Ice Experience at Mountain Yoga and if I’m honest… I literally had no idea what to expect! 🤦🏻‍♀️

This isn’t normally “my sort of thing”. Stick me on a dance floor with some loud music and I’m in my element! Listening to my brain and body, then voluntarily getting into freezing cold water? Not something I ever thought I’d enjoy! 😂

For anyone wondering what a Fire & Ice Experience actually is, it combines breathwork, heat and cold exposure to help calm your mind, build resilience, regulate your nervous system, and move from fight or flight into rest and digest.

I actually found it emotional at times and challenging in ways I wasn’t expecting, but it was also surprisingly simple, yet incredibly powerful.

I’m not claiming to be Mrs Zen now or anything 😂, but I’ve definitely come away with a few tools and techniques that I can hopefully use in everyday life.

I’m really glad I tried something different. It reminded me that growth doesn’t always happen in the places where we feel most comfortable 💜

The sunshine turned up, you all turned up, and we had the BEST time dancing in Hailey Park! 🎉

☀️ SUMMER ZUMBA IS HERE! ☀️

I’m SO excited to share that, while Ysgol Glantaf is closed for the school summer holidays, we’re officially taking Zumba outdoors!

For six weeks, we’ll be making the most of the longer summer evenings and dancing together at Hailey Park 🌳

Come and join me every Monday evening for an hour of music, movement and feel-good fitness in the fresh air 💃

🕖 When: Mondays, 7:00pm – 8:00pm
📆 Dates: 20th July – 24th August
📍 Location: Hailey Park, Llandaff North, Cardiff CF14 2FU

🌦️ Please note: Outdoor classes are weather permitting. If a session needs to be cancelled due to poor weather, updates will be shared on my social media pages and in our WhatsApp Group.

Our Tuesday evening classes are taking a short summer break for the holidays, and our regular Monday and Tuesday indoor classes will return to Ysgol Glantaf from September.

Some people only have a gym… we have each other 💜

These past few weeks have been some of the hardest I’ve ever experienced, but being back doing what I love with my Zumba family has meant more to me than I can put into words.

I’ve missed these incredible ladies so much. They show up, dance their hearts out, make me smile, and remind me why I LOVE what I do!

Thank you all for your kindness, your support, your patience, and for bringing your amazing energy to every class. I appreciate every single one of you 🫶

Here’s to many more crazy, sweaty dance parties together! 😅💃✨
