⭐ STAR PERFORMERS – SWSLCC 2nd XI ⭐

A clinical all-round performance saw our 2nd XI secure a fantastic victory over Abercynon CC 2nd XI.

Batting highlights included a magnificent century from Kasun Pathirana (103 off 89 balls) and a blistering, boundary-filled 76 off just 48 balls from Priyamal Gallage. Sanka Mendis provided great support with a quick 25.

With the ball, the team was just as sharp. Mark Anthony led the containment with brilliant figures of 2-9, supported closely by Sanka Mendis (2-25) and Sangeeth Madushan (2-25).

🔥 A commanding performance from the SWSLCC 2nd XI! 🦁💙💛

The boys put together a complete team performance to secure a convincing 153-run victory over Abercynon CC 2nd XI! 👏

🏏 Kasun Pathirana led the way with a superb 103 off 89 balls, anchoring a powerful batting display. Priyamal Gallage added a brilliant 76 off 48, providing the perfect support as SWSLCC posted an impressive 290 all out.

🎯 With the bat setting the platform, the bowlers came out firing and bowled Abercynon out for 137, with wickets shared across the attack and the pressure maintained throughout the innings.

💪 Big runs. Big wickets. Big team effort. Another strong performance from the 2nd XI and another well-earned victory!

🏏 A 22-run victory for the SWSLCC 1st XI! 💙💛

A strong all-round performance from the boys! 🔥 Imshad Farook led the way with a brilliant 79 off 39, while Ranjaya Silva added a solid 75 and Dilhan Jayawardena contributed 42.

With the ball, Chamith Peiris (4/46) was the standout, supported by Imshad Farook (2/51) and Sandun Perera (2/58).
