BUGGY FIT Monday’s 11.15am starting mid April

Buggy Fitness is an opportunity for new mothers to exercise alongside like-minded women. These sessions are relaxed and supportive, and no childcare is required as the classes are specifically designed for mother, baby, and pram.

Buggy Fitness is an opportunity for new mothers to exercise with other likeminded, new mums. Sessions are relaxed to support new mothers and no childcare is required as classes are designed for mother, baby and pram.

As a qualified Pre & Post Natal Trainer, I will guide you through a workout designed to safely rebuild your body after childbirth.

I have over 20 years experience as a Personal Trainer and offer fitness, nutrition and lifestyle coaching. I specialise in female health; pre & post natal, menopause and weight management.

A team of REAL women who powered through a tough and hot 🥵 5 mile race. They all had very different goals however they share the same characteristics; determination, strength, commitment and immense resilience. We’ve had our challenges and hurdles to overcome however you smashed it team!!

From my biggest to my best.....
Most of you know I have been trying to get healthy and get fit... Lockdown weight hit me hard and coupled with a pregnancy, I was the biggest and most unfit I had ever been. I needed to do something for me.
With the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING support from Rebecca Smith Fitness I started my fitness journey. I've managed to lose 5 stone and become the fittest and strongest I have ever been. Its been amazing for my mental health too. I really do feel like a new woman ( and look like one too!) Thank you so much Rebecca...you have changed my life and I'm so grateful.
I started running about 7 months ago and today I took part in the Capel 5 mile run. Had you of told me two years ago I could run 5 miles, I would never had believed you.

Benefits of COLD fresh air:

🧠 Elevates your mood - “Cold Air Therapy”.
Be aware of Seasonal Affective Disorder SAD. As the days become shorter and darker, many people struggle with combating seasonal depression in winter 👣 Making sure we continue to get our steps in and exercising through the winter is one of the best ways to combat SAD. Exercise naturally increases mood boosting endorphins and getting the sun ☀️ on your skin, even winter sun, can help get your vitamin D levels back up.

🦠 Boost your immune system - During colder months, our immune systems become weaker, making bugs and viruses 🤧 more common. One of the benefits of exercising in winter is that your immune system works harder to defend itself against the elements and, in turn, helps your body fight off infections.

♥️ Good for our Heart - When we’re cold, our body has to pump blood around our body harder to keep us warm. Add exercise into the mix and your heart ♥️ 🫁 works twice as hard, making it a great cardiovascular workout... plus you burn more calories.

🍔🍾 Avoid Winter weight gain - In the colder months it is so easy to turn to comfort food, because it’s satisfying and it makes us feel good, well for a little anyway. This is why winter is typically known as the ‘weight gain’ period as the average person puts on up to 4 kg across these months. Staying active by getting outside and walking regularly keeps our mind in a healthy & POSITIVE ☯️ mindset and in turn helps to avoid the vicious circle of bad eating and not moving.

Top Tips:

👣 10,000 steps daily.

⌚️ TRACK your steps. Be accountable.

👊 Commit to 30 minutes of outside activity 1-2 times a week. Prioritise a day and time in your diary and get breathless.

Just 30 minutes of movement in the cold air will make you feel amazing 🤩
