Today is a BIG day! Three epic Kent County Cups Girls Finals, kindly sponsored by The Merit Group, are set to light up the pitch here at The Gallagher Stadium as the finalists battle for the silverware!

Our u18s came out on top in an absolute thriller this afternoon. Facing top of the league Herne Bay Youth away, the boys had been ahead for most of the match until a couple of late goals for Herne Bay took them 6-5 ahead with 5 minutes to play. But remarkably, the Eagles hit their opponents with 4 (FOUR) goals in the final minutes to emerge 9-6 winners! Congratulations to striker AY on his double hattrick! Big thanks to our sponsors

Four perfect penalties and our u15 Girls are County Cup Semi Finalists! A fantastically determined display saw Eagles grab a last minute equaliser against a strong Margate side to take the tie to penalties. Flora, Frankie, Holly F and Holly C showed nerves of steel to seal the win! Kent FA Boys & Maughan Solicitors Her Game Too

At the end of May, the Davis family - Alan, Rachael and Ruby - are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise awareness and vital funds for research into Stargardt’s Disease, a rare inherited eye condition that causes central vision loss.

This cause means a great deal to us. Ruby, age 13, lives with Stargardt’s every day - and her determination shines through in everything she does, including continuing to be a key part of our U15 girls’ team. She’s a dynamic midfielder, a very popular teammate, and has shown amazing resilience to keep playing since her diagnosis, continuing to perform brilliantly on the pitch.

By climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales, the family hope to shine a light on Stargardt’s and help fund research, support and hope for the future - as there is currently no treatment or cure.

For Ruby, this challenge represents resilience, determination and refusing to be defined by her diagnosis. Every step is for her - and for everyone affected by Stargardt’s Disease.

We’d love the Eagles family to show their support for our inspirational Ruby and to get behind the Davis family as they take on this incredible challenge. Every message of encouragement and every bit of support means a huge amount.
