So excited to attend and dance at the League of Friends Kent & Canterbury Hospital Summer Festival & Fair today. So many fun things to do while raising funds for our local hospitals. Do come and see us and join the Bollywood Festival dancing - it’s going to be so much fun 🤩

Our annual Summer Festival and Fair is almost here! 👇

What better way to kick start the school summer holidays and it’s going to be a fun day out for the whole family!

The festival and fair will be officially opened by the Lord Mayor at 12 noon.

⏰Sunday 19th July 12noon - 4pm
📍Kent & Canterbury Hospital CT1 3NG (opposite day surgery)

It’s set to be a fabulously sunny afternoon with music, dancing, food & drink - including food from the LOFKCH café with homemade cakes and refreshments, a BBQ, Whitstable Whippy and so much more.

We have a fabulous line up of activities and stalls that will be joining us and we simply can’t wait!

We will have Bric a brac, jewellery, plants, preserves, bottle tombola, puzzles, homemade goods, books, children’s tombola, lucky dip and more!

There will also be a fun photo booth, a kids area, and a grand prize draw.

We will be joined by George’s & Friends, the Therapy ponies and the Bollywood Blast Dancers for workshops.

Such a pleasure to be part of the Hythe Sports & Fitness Festival. Thank you to all the organisers and volunteers for making it a huge success. It was a perfect day out and a dazzling array of activities to try out. Sports and fitness can be so much fun!! Here are some tasters of all our classes Serenity, Classic and Blast. My exercise to music teacher taught me the best exercise is the one that you will do! Yes we have ours 🥰 My approach ask your body gently and it will respond , 3 days to start, 3 weeks to form a routine and 3 months to normalise and then before you know it you too will hit 11 years ☺️

Ask you expect dance covers many aspects of fitness, cardiovascular, muscular particularly muscular endurance and skeletal- it’s fabulous for bone health. But with associated skills is where it excels flexibility, agility, coordination, balance, speed, reaction times, awareness of body in time and space ( this is so interesting) Of course there is brain health and development of new neurological pathways as well as emotional health both social and spiritual aspects too.

So these are a few important reasons you may want to give dance a go!! But equally the warmth, affection and fun that we have in class is unparalleled. Come and watch our Bollywood Blast classes in action today at the Hythe Sport and Fitness festival and join us for some fun workshops too.
