A chastening defeat today at the hands of a youthful and talented Sandwich side. With three players having not arrived Kenfield won the toss and opted to bat. Wickets fell regularly and the side was all out for 113. In their chase Sandwich lost 5 wickets. Don taking 3 for 20 from his 8 overs.

Another glorious day and another great game of cricket. Having been asked to bat by Elham Valley Kenfield complied 201 for 8 from their 40 overs. Another fine knock from Mubasher Ali (77) and some late impetus from Johan du Toit (41) being the main contributors.
Elham's chase was well on course until Don Leavey applied the breaks taking 2 wickets for not very many and Carter Wilson sent Bails flying. A couple of runouts followed and the game was anyone's. Elham's lower order rallied however and they reached their target with an over to spare.

Great game today against The Three Horseshoes. The visitors batted first and amassed 219 for 3 from their 40 overs built around a solid 85* from opener Sam Morris and a swashbuckling 73 from Tom Berry. It would have been more but for Saurabh Chaudhary's miserly 8 overs for 13.
Kenfields reply got off to a quick start but was soon pegged back to 25 for 2. Then came a match winning innings of 97 from Mubasher Ali. Assisted by an unusually brisk 48 from Gerrit ten Hove. Kenfield eventually reached their target with a six from Saurabh with an over to spare as he and Carter Wilson saw us home. As always a great game against the shoes. Another day with over 400 runs scored.
