You need to stop making EXCUSES!
Changing is hard. No body finds it easy. What sets people who make it happen apart from those that don’t is that they actually make changes.
‘I’m too tired’
‘I always forget’
‘It’s just hard’
These are things we all say. Things we all feel. But if you give in to these every time you’re not going to get anywhere.
Reaching your goals requires discipline, routine and structure. It’s not easy, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it. You absolutely can.

‘I’ll start again on Monday’ is holding you back and ruining your progress.

You have two great days of staying on track, working out, doing your steps, and then Wednesday hits and you eat a whole large galaxy chocolate bar to yourself… what do you do now?

You say ‘well I’ve ruined this week now, I’ll start again on Monday!’

But your week isn’t ruined. You just had a chocolate bar and you can wake up on Thursday and choose to put yourself and your goals first again.

Don’t let little hiccups ruin your progress more than they need to!

THE TRUTH ABOUT GETTING ABS👀⬇️

You need to train your abs like any other muscle if you want them to grow and look defined. That means progressive overload, so increasing your reps or resistance over time!

But training alone isn’t going to get you a six pack. To actually see your abs, you need a low enough body fat percentage which means going into a calorie deficit for a while. For women, fat around the stomach is often the last to come off, so you have to be patient!

Genetics matter too. Some people naturally hold less fat around their midsection or have abs that show more easily.

It’s also worth saying that keeping your body fat low enough for visible abs isn’t always sustainable or healthy long term. Women need a higher level of body fat to support hormones and feel good in general, and sometimes we just want to enjoy a little more food and have a little more energy!

Abs aren’t the be-all and end-all. Train them because you want a strong core, not just because you feel you should have a six-pack, and don’t be so hard on yourself. A lot of what you see online isn’t real!!

Overtraining is killing your progress.

I used to train 6x a week, because I loved it. I thought I’d have to be doing the most to be ‘overtraining’ and thought I would know because I would stop seeing progress, but there’s more to it than that.

It wasn’t until I dropped my training days down to 4 that I realised I was doing too much, and started to see so much more progress a lot quicker.

Overtraining was:
* Making my immune system weak - I was always getting ill
* Making me very irritable - I would get frustrated at EVERYTHING
* Slowing my progress - I didn’t stop seeing progress, but I saw it a lot more quickly when I cut things down

Doing more is not going to get you to your goals faster so please listen to your body and don’t forget to rest.

The truth about dieting…

Over the past 16 weeks, I’ve lost 9kg - and this is what I’m looking like.
What you’re hearing is “16 weeks”. What you’re seeing is 4 years of very consistent, very hard work.

In those 16 weeks:
✅ 5 “cheat” meals
🚶‍♀️ 12,000 steps every single day
❤️‍🔥 200 mins of cardio per week
🏋️‍♀️ 4 strength sessions
🍽️ Same meals, same calories — every day

I stuck to the plan through social events, fatigue, hormone issues and stress.
No shortcuts. No excuses.

Losing weight is hard.
Don’t compare your journey to someone else’s 12-week transformation online. Ask yourself what you really want and how much you’re honestly willing to change right now.
• Want to drop weight fast for a holiday? That means saying no to a few nights out.
• Want to enjoy the journey (and dessert)? That’s fine too — it’ll just take longer.

What life is looking like 10 days out from my shoot.

The goal at the moment is to bring my calories back up to maintenance while maintaining some leanness, before we go back into a building phase.

We have brought my calories up by 200kal, and I have enjoyed some guilt free food, drinks and celebrations. It’s been nice to not have to be quite so strict, but I am still maintaining plan and structure in my diet to keep me lean and feeling good.

We’ve increase my training volume, and I’m already feeling much stronger in my sessions which is ultimately what I love.

Honestly, I was a bit worried about how I would find transitioning out of my dieting phase, but I’ve managed bringing more balance in really well physically and mentally and I’m super excited for this next phase.
