Saxons Orienteering Club

Saxons Orienteering Club Saxons has a membership covering most of Kent & part of E.Sussex. Events are organised throughout the year and are a mix of day & night and forest & urban.

We organise and run events contributing to the British Orienteering ranking scheme on a monthly basis, as well as local events included in the Kent Orienteering League (in conjunction with Dartford Orienteers) and Kent Night Cup (with assistance from both Dartford and Southdowns Orienteers). British ranking events normally take place on a Sunday, Kent Orienteering League monthly events on a Saturd

ay, and Kent Night Cup weekly on Thursday evenings during the autumn and winter months. All Saxons events have courses suitable for those wishing to try Orienteering for the first time. Experienced Saxons members are available to help you with any queries or questions you may have and all equipment required can be hired or borrowed on the day. There's no need to pre-enter, so you can just turn up at the event (at the stated registration times) and remember, junior Saxons club members can take part for free. Adventure Racing Runners and Duke of Edinburgh students welcome for navigation training.
