Lessons are one hour, parents are required to stay for primary children.
£5 club registration fee (for non members)
£7 per lesson

Hello all!
The sun is out, spring is definitely here, and the tennis season is about to start!
We are once again looking at having our regular LTA qualified coach come to Wingham Tennis Courts to provide tennis coaching for children. We are currently looking at MONDAY afternoons at 5.30pm for younger primary children, then 6.30pm for older primary and Secondary children.
Cost would be £5 for an hours lesson (based on groups of 6 or more children) with a one off £5 club membership fee for the season (no membership fee payable if the children are club members as part of family membership taken out by their parents).
Lessons would start after the Easter Holidays.

Courts have been cleaned and are ready for this season!
Thank you Premier Sports Surfaces Ltd for the excellent service.

Membership allows you to use the courts as often as you like for no extra court hire fees.
We also have children's lessons on Wednesdays starting 8th May from 3.45om. Individual lessons for all ages and ability can also be arranged with our Level 2 coach.

The 2024 Tennis season membership rates
Only just popping these up as have been waiting for our courts to be deep cleaned to clear the winter moss off (worse than usual due to the mild winter) and get the courts lovely and clean for the season.
ADULTS £35 (one adult plus under 18s at same address)
FAMILY £50 (two adults plus under 18s at same address)
We have again decided not to offer public hire of the courts, however we believe the membership rates are low to make it worthwhile becoming a member even if you only use the courts a few times.
As a member, you can use the courts as often as you like (no further costs) though courts must be booked. You also become a member of the Wingham Recreation Club.
Plus you can meet up with other members for some social matches at our Club Nights - every Tuesday and Friday from 5pm to 8pm.

Tennis Lessons are back at Wingham for the 2024 season

We are once again lucky to have our regular tennis coach coming to Wingham Tennis Club to do group tennis lessons for primary and secondary aged children, to be held at Wingham Tennis Courts at the far end of Wingham Recreation Ground.
The lessons would be on Wednesday afternoons. At the moment we have a confirmed older group lesson starting at 4.45pm - if we get enough younger tennis players then we'll be able to run two groups like last year at 4pm (younger) and 5pm (older).
Lessons would be for one hour and are with an LTA Level 2 Accredited tennis coach.
Price per lesson per child will depend on the numbers in the groups (3 children £8, 4 children £6, 5+ children £5), plus a one off club registration fee of £5 (waived for club members.)
Lessons will be starting 1st May if the court clean is completed by then else the following week on May 8th.
