Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship

Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship The perfect environment for Lotus owners to take part in competitive motorsport. Suitable for novices to experienced drivers. Great social and competition.

The Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship is the perfect environment for Lotus owners to take their first steps into Motorsport, with drivers alone on the track and without the distraction of other cars, or the fear of contact, able to concentrate on their technique and speed. It appeals to both track day drivers, who are able to use their skills in a competitive environment, and complete novices, who c

an instantly compare their performances to the frontrunners. The Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship consists of several rounds taking place at a combination of race circuits and airfields. Each driver completes a set of solo runs timed by electronic equipment accurate to 100th of a second, with the winner recording the best time of the day. Road going cars are eligible to participate, and the vast majority of competitors will not need to fit a roll cage, fire extinguisher or harness to take part. Events take place over just a single day, avoiding the need to book accommodation. There will be three classes in 2023, one for normally-aspirated Production, one for forced induction Production cars such as the Elise Cup and one for faster SuperSport cars. The Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship events make a great social day out in addition to the driving side.
