๐ŸŽพ Half-Term Highlights ๐ŸŽพ

Our Canterbury Tennis Club juniors have been busy competing across the country this half term, gaining valuable experience and producing some fantastic performances!

๐ŸŒŸ Ava took on her first Grade 2 tournament at Nottingham Tennis Centre. It was an incredible experience, with five of her seven matches going all the way to a match tiebreak โ€“ a great display of resilience and determination.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Linden battled through 33-degree heat at the Grade 3 Boysโ€™ Singles event in Chesham Bois, producing an excellent performance to finish as runner-up.

๐ŸŽพ Oscar Hayward and Sami Ur-Rehman also represented the club brilliantly in the Kent Youth League taking on Hythe and Kingโ€™s Hill.

๐Ÿ‘ Alice played some excellent tennis in her first 12U tournament at Brunel University, narrowly missing out on a semi-final spot after a close match tiebreak in the quarter-finals.

๐Ÿ’ช Ava rounded off the week at a Green Ball Grade 3 tournament in Chesham, reaching the last 16 before losing to the eventual champion. Plenty of lessons learned and experience gained to build on moving forward.
