The 2026/27 season started with a bang this Sunday as the rugby club buzzed with excitement!

Our mini and youth section showed up in full forces as we saw teams old and new come together in incredible numbers🤩 A big welcome to all our new under 6 players this season!

A huge well done to our Under 9’s who all smashed their first week of contact, but for an absolute standout tackle in their game Seb was awarded the U9 Player of the Week👏🏽

Community Match Day Experience🤩✨🏆🏉

We kicked the season off with a bang, as our Canterbury Under 8 players joined us to watch Canterbury 1XV v Old Albanian’s this weekend!

Their VIP day was filled with excitement as our mini players ran on the match ball with Captain Jamie at kick off, played a game of tag rugby in front of the crowd at half time and ended the game meeting all the players!

One of the parents said: “Honestly this is such an amazing experience and the interaction and buy in from the first team players and coaches truly makes you feel part of the club. It’s powerful for the kids to see the pathway all the way to the top if they work hard!”
