Let’s flip the idea of motivation on it’s head..

What if I said that motivation isn’t the key to getting you to the gym?

What if I said that just getting up and walking through the gym doors will be motivation enough..

If you have the action to go and repeat that for a few weeks, you see results and that is the result for you to get motivation.

So many people come to me saying they lack the motivation to do something. They are seeing the results which is making them feel unmotivated to do anything!

Stop letting the lack of motivation dictate your results.

Just doing will in time magic that beautiful thing we call motivation 🪄

Waiting for motivation to come knocking on the door to take you out for a walk, or to take you to the gym?

You won't like this, but you might be waiting fair while for that call..

Sitting around talking about "wanting" to do and be better..

You sitting about thinking about what you would want your future self to look like is doing something, there is just no action..

This might be feeling like I am handing out tough love cards, but my aim is to give you the action to move, make a decision and with that you'll see results.. thus giving you that magical potion called Motivation 😍

Cheat days, cheat meals.. hands up if you agree they need to get in the bin.Don’t sugar coat it. Just call it what it is...

Cheat days, cheat meals.. hands up if you agree they need to get in the bin.

Don’t sugar coat it. Just call it what it is and agree you’ve over eaten.

Naming something a cheat isn’t healthy for you and will just put a negative spin on your weight loss phase.

If you have a planned event coming up, account for it in the week(s) building up to it depending on how much you need to account for.

Acknowledge the fact that for a few days you’ll be a little heavier but things will balance out.

If you want to have a planned re-feed day, the same procedure should be implemented.

Just stop calling it a cheat day and going fu***ng mental every weekend.

You might actually see some results 😉

So many times I hear people say what they need to do or change about themselves to be “better”

When we ask the questions about their life and current environment, the feedback is normally that they just want help with nutrition not their environment.

Addressing things like sleep, caffeine intake, stress levels and activity levels can have most more positive impact on a persons progress rather than just dropping calories to achieve a desired weight loss without addressing the other issues.

What are your thoughts on this?

Feel like you need a bit of an audit on your environment? 💻

Hands up on who has send this at least once?!

I found myself saying ALOT the past couple of weeks.

Wedding stress man.

Anyway..

Please try to stop saying things like you feel fat.

There is more than likely a reason why you are feeling/looking bigger than usual.

Try to consider other factors and will this “feeling” pass.

It might be a hard pill the swallow but you could just not be shifting the weight the think you are! Trust me, I am currently in this boat myself 😂

Sometimes just taking accountability on ourselves is what is needed.

Try not to push the “feeling” of fat on what could just be the fact you had a bit of a blow out the night before.

Put your hands up and say. I overate and it will pass..

The idea is to not continue to over eat 😉😂

Tyler never failed to make me crack up in every single check in 😆

I think it’s safe to say that Tyler had really tried everything.

She was at the point and believe that there was something wrong with her!

She had the drive to do whatever needed to be done. She listened and implemented everything that was asked of her.

Although she wasn’t too happy about me reducing her Coke cola intake 🥴

However, she’s flying solo now and she is feeling much better about herself. Although she has admitted that having the accountability done her wonders.

Having someone keeping you on track and knowing you can let off some steam too is more important than just saying “walk more”

If your a coach you’ve heard this more than once.

If your a client you’ve most likely said it.

If your thinking about jumping on board, you’ll no doubt say it.

It really isn’t something that shocks me when I hear it. This is something out of the ordinary for you.

You are having to actually THINK about your meals. If I said you had 400g of carbs a day you’d smash it no bother… right 😉

There are many reasons why high protein diet is king.

These are the crème de crème for fat loss.

Yes, it takes a bit more of a thought process and it means you need to think ahead. But change doesn’t come from doing the same s**t day in and day out.

Be patient, stick with me and I promise by the end of the process it will be like second nature 😘
