Kintyre SUP club Kintyre SUP club provides safe and fun access to Stand Up Paddle boarding in Kintyre. We meet at Dalintober beach.

Being an accredited BSUPA school we offer instruction, coaching and social paddling within the remit of our club.

Beautiful night for a sup once the wind died down. Mixture of all skills refresher (including how to carry the board over land) everyone did a great job. Jo Holbrook led the session as the final part of her sign off as a BSUPA level 1 instructor. Congratulations Jo and well done 🎉

Lovely tea time sup or so we thought… weather forecast good and get some sun. The reality was much different when making the return journey and found it increasingly difficult and exhausting to get back to the shore. Resorted to a Prone style paddle to get back into shore. Which did the trick. However mindful of the need to ensure you can do all types of emergency style paddling if the weather changes suddenly. Importance of learning this or practicing this on regular basis. Will happily teach this in our school and club over next few months.
