A late post due to a busy weekend but the boys came away from the game with Port Glasgow on Saturday with a 1-1 draw with the goal coming from in the second half to bring us level.

It wasn’t our finest performance of the season but were the better team through out just that final pass let us down.

Our last game this is weekend before the Christmas break against Po***ck. Details to follow later in the week.

🔵⚪️🔵 FULL TIME🔵⚪️🔵

After last week’s white out and postponed game the boys were eager to go today and the score line shows that. The boys put in a shift for each other and reaped the rewards.

Our first goal came early from a superb corner kick delivery from for to bullet the header home. Our second goal game shortly after when the boys pressed the visitors into their box and got between the goal keeper and defender to toe poke the ball through the Goalkeepers legs. The visitors had a couple of half chances and we seen arguably the save of the season from when he clawed out to safety from his top right hand corner.

At half time the boys were more than deserving of their lead. Second half was much more of the same but we did give up a couple more chances from free headers in the box but lucky weren’t capitalised on.

Our third goal came from another cracking delivery into a dangerous area from Sammy that ended up at Archie who lashed the ball in the net around the hour mark. The boys were moving the ball about well finding space moving Dumbarton around to make chances. At this point we made the changes to freshen the legs, had a couple of long ranged efforts narrowly missing and hitting the post. The fourth goal came from a well worked move across the pitch 18 yards out from left to right when the ball was played into Archie’s feet he rolled the defender and poke the ball through for who slotted the ball past the goalkeeper and into the net. Our final goal came from the penalty spot when Archie struck a thunder bolt past the keeper for his Hat-Trick.

Great day at the office, thanks to Dumbarton for the game all the best for the rest of the season.
