🔵⚽️Today was our final grading game against Airdrie, The boys done us proud again. A close first half with both teams having lots of chances, a great double save from our goal keeper kept us in the lead at half time. The second half boys all showed what they can do and dominated given nothing away scoring 5 with no response. 5 convincing wins out of 6 games puts us in a good place for starting next season.

🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a weekend we had last week for the Drumsagard Blacks, capped off by winning the Giffnock Soccer Centre Tournament!

Following on from a brilliant awards night on the Friday, the boys were straight back at it on Sunday and WON 👏🏻🏆

The semi-final alone was enough to give us all a heart attack. It was an absolute rollercoaster of a game, eventful and nerve-wracking to say the least. We found ourselves 3-1 down, but the boys fought back to draw 3-3 thanks to a brilliant hat-trick from Big Adam!

It then went straight to penalties. Kobe stepped up first and scored to get us off to a flyer, then Adam followed it up by scoring his. Luke then pulled off an outstanding save, leaving Jude to step up and score the winner to put us into the final!

To go from celebrating on Friday night straight into a tournament on Sunday and lifting the trophy shows exactly what these boys are made of. The teamwork and determination from the whole squad was absolutely spot on from start to finish. We couldn’t be prouder of them.

Next up, we head down to Dumfries this morning to take on Heston Rovers. It's going to take a lot to beat last weekend, but the boys are ready for it!

What a brilliant start to the weekend we had to celebrate the 2025/26 season for the Drumsagard Blacks! ⚽️🏆

We kicked things off with some bowling, and it was great to have all the boys, parents, coaches, and siblings together for such a good night.

The development in the squad this year has been incredible to watch. The boys have been fantastic in training, listening to everything the coaches have asked of them, taking it straight into the matches and smashing it!

A special mention to Rory for picking up a new, prestigious award personally chosen by Michael Tidser. This is going to be a yearly tradition, with the trophy being passed from player to player each season—what an honour to be the first!
