We have been drawn at home to Cambuslang Soccer Centre 2012 in the 2nd round of the Scottish Cup. 🏆
A tough draw for the boys against a very good side but a challenge we will look forward to as we aim to come out on top in the Camby derby. 🤝 ⚽❤️🖤🩶

Today's game.

Cambuslang 2 - 1 Scotland

We got our revenge today after last weekends cup defeat to Scotland.

We started well and took it to Scotland.
We took the lead early on when Liam did well in the box. He managed to get himself free and then squeeze the ball past the keeper and it found its way inside the far post.
His first league goal since joining us.
Unfortunately he had to come off later in the half feeling ill.

We then went 2 infront as Finn chased a ball into the box and got there before the keeper and defender and put the ball into the net.

HT 2-0

We were also the stronger team in the second half but just couldn't find that decisive goal.
We thought we had won a penalty when Finn latched onto a forward pass and seemed to be bundled over in the box but the ref said the defender won the ball.

Finn then had the ball in the net only to see this one be chopped off for offside.

Scotland managed to get a goal back in the last 5 minutes but we held on and saw the game out.

Finn - worked really well today never gave anything up and his link up play was excellent. Unlucky not to get that second goal.

We take on Scotland Boys again this weekend in the second match of our double header.
We narrowly lost 3-2 last weekend so the boys are out for revenge.
It is sure to be a close game again.
So if you are looking for somthing to do tomorrow morning come along and cheer on the boys.

A close match last time against Scotland saw us win 4-2. Hopfully a similar result this weekend.
