Bit of a strange training week this week....

Life, work, and scheduling have meant things haven't looked quite how I planned, but I'm adapting and making sure I get to the classes I can, whatever they may be....

Not every week is about perfect preparation—sometimes it's about staying consistent, staying flexible, and keeping momentum moving forward.....

Just 5 days until DEKA Strong. The work is done, the focus is there, and now it's about showing up ready to give my best. Let's go....

....so this completely took me by surprise! And I'm not one for "bigging" myself up...but I'm really proud of this!

I was presented with the Hercules Patch in recognition of my work as Head Judge at the Deadly Dozen UK Championships....this is a huge honour and I'm completely blown away!

I genuinely haven't seen what I did this weekend as going above and beyond....because I LOVE what I do! I love encouraging, supporting, whooping, dancing, no repping ( yes I will do that) ensuring standards are on point, pushing to make athletes smash those final reps and all the bits in-between....but I'm going to take it!!

AWESOME DAY!! Watching the qualifying UK Champs thrash it out on the track was insane!!

We had everything...PBs, competition, fun, banter, encouragement, sweat, so much sweat....and some tears...

EPIC!

Really pleased with my race results this weekend....

Considering I’m only 12 weeks post abdominal surgery, nowhere near full fitness yet, and have only worn the ruck 3 times since surgery, I’ll take that as a solid first comp back 💪

Lots to work on and plenty of fitness to rebuild, but I’m genuinely happy to be back in the ruck game doing what I love. One step at a time 👊
