Effective Volleying Technique:
1. CONTINENTAL GRIP (forefinger knuckle on bevel 2)
2.SMALL SHOULDER TURN 12 o’clock to 2 o’clock (f/hand for right hander). 12 o’clock to 10 o’clock (b/hand for right hander). Opposite for left handers.
3. STEP FORWARD down the court in the direction of the volley with your left foot for a f/hand volley & right foot for a b/hand volley (right handers- opposite for lefties). Transfer body weight forwards to add POWER to your volleys.
4. CONTACT the ball OUT IN FRONT of you with a slightly open racket face.
